PM: Russia’s non-energy trade turnover soars over 25% Jan–Jun
MOSCOW, Sep 8 (PRIME) -- The non-energy turnover of Russia’s foreign trade soared more than 25% on the year in January–June, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday during the Moscow Financial Forum.
He also said that a preliminary estimate of the Federal State Statistics Service showed Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growing 2.5% in April–June and investment rising 6.3% on the year in the period.
“Foreign trade dynamics are also restoring now -- foreign trade turnover that is not connected to oil and natural gas…grew more than 25% in the first half of 2017,” Medvedev said.
